The meetings are held during the term on Tuesdays, 2.10 p.m. - 4 p.m. Inquire with the Student Life Office for exact meeting dates. Meetings are open to the public, and agendas are posted on ÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½sync 72 hours before meetings.

ASÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ (Student Senate) officers are elected by the student body each year in April for the following year. Senators are the other students who form the ASÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Senate.

Students can join ASÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ as senators the first two weeks of each term or can petition by attending 3 consecutive meetings and being voted in by the Senate.

Are you interested in becoming an ASÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ officer or senator? Attend a one-hour information session or a general meeting.

Information Sessions

Information sessions are available the first two weeks of the fall and spring terms on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. in Student Union conference room 204.

General Meetings

General meetings are Tuesdays, 2.10 p.m. - 4 p.m.

To become an ASÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ Senator, announce your interest in joining ASÌÇÐÄ´«Ã½ as a Senator during public forum, then attend two more consecutive meetings and the general senate will vote on your petition to become a senator.
